Thomas Jefferson is the second in this four-coin series of the Mount Rushmore presidents to be minted. The first coin in the limited-edition series features George Washington. Both coins are currently available for purchase.
The front sides of this coin series will feature a different president from Mount Rushmore National Monument, a massive sculpture carved into the Black Hills region of South Dakota. The coins are named to mark the stage in American history during each of the Presidents’ time in office:
